Hermione saw Ron for the first time in months from a distance and her heart skipped a beat.

Torn between the man who had broken her heart and the man who mended it.

She turned and looked at Draco. In that look, she relived every embrace he had given her, every kiss he had placed upon her lips, every smile he had managed to pull out from the depths of her depression, every effort he had made to convince her she deserved better.  

It was in that look when Draco knew that no matter how hard he fought for her, how complete they made each other with their chipped and broken souls, how many times he proclaims he loves her, she will always return to Ron.
